The scholarship is sponsored in memory of Thomas J. Landers and Charles H. Jackson for years of service to law enforcement.
This fund is a project of the Maine Chiefs of Police Association in recognition of its responsibilities and dedication in fostering the profession of law enforcement as a rewarding and beneficial career to the youth our state.
This year we will be offering three $500 scholarships for any two or four post High School Law Enforcement Education Programs.

The Maine Chiefs of Police Association has 350+ members including active & retired chiefs, sheriffs and senior law enforcement leaders. The association actively participates in new training initiatives, policy advancement and progressive law enforcement tactics as the lead association for Maine's Finest. The proud members stand together to improve upon their relationship with the public and become a better prepared to protect the great citizens of our rural state. Information on membership can be obtained by emailing the executive director, non-law enforcement memberships may be available for students or aspiring law enforcement officers. Law enforcement vendors may obtain membership information too.
